Education - that´s what we want.

We are a group of students from the European University Viadrina and citizens of Frankfurt (Oder) and we all marvel at the miracle of new life that we all share. Each of us once came to the conclusion that there is a deep meaning in our life. Every one of us once understood that his life was more than sheer incident. We believe that there is a creating intelligence that made life and ours', too. We came to the conclusion that Jesus is the human face of God and that this has consequences for our lives. Therefore we are studying the Bible, which provides insight into what people have experienced with this mighty creator before we were even born. Every one of us then independently came to the conclusion that this God wants to be our constant companion and therefore looked for ways to be with us. He found a way and that's why here in Frankfurt (Oder) right at the border between Germany and Poland we met: People from different backgrounds, age and nationality. Still we share one common goal: We want to ask others the same questions that we have asked ourselves. We want to educate others about the truth about the Bible and about Christ that we have found. We find little accurate knowledge out there but many prejudices.
We want to show that it makes sense to be well educated and still believe in a Creator God who really longs for being with people like you and me. We are working adults, students of the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder), highschool students, parents, kids, young and old and we are looking forward to welcome you among us if you are living in this town or on the other side of the river in Slubice (Poland) as well! Join us for one of our events, don´t hesitate to ask, come and see! We are meeting in private appartments of our members and in the university.

The vision of our Church Family...

In the Hope International Ministries family, we believe in the vision God has given us. We will do everything possible to fulfill this vision which is summarized in Jesus' last command and last promise, that he gave while being physically on this earth: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age" (Matthew 28:19-20) We believe this commission has been given to every believer in the Body of Christ (which is the universal Church). Therefore, in obedience to the Lord Jesus our vision is to plant strong and biblical churches all over the world. We will make disciples of every nation so that they will wholeheartedly obey everything in the Bible. In another passage in the Bible, Christ confirms his command: “But the Holy Spirit will come upon you and give you power. Then you will tell everyone about me in Jerusalem, in all Judea, in Samaria, and everywhere in the world." (Acts 1:8).

Hope Frankfurt (Oder) - Our Vision...

Our vision is to fulfill the Great Commission in our lifetime, by building strong and biblical people, to plant strong and biblical churches in Brandenburg, Königs Wusterhausen, Guben, Cottbus, Potsdam, Berlin, Germany, Poland and all over the world. This is our contribution to the Kingdom of God where justice and love reign.
Our efforts are thus focused on first reaching our nation, districts, regions, towns and eventually the entire world. We recognize that, as Christians respond to Christ's call with all of their energy, time and resources, God's kingdom will indeed come and His will be done on the earth as it is done in heaven. We are encouraged and empowered by the Holy Spirit, whom God gave us when Jesus ascended back to heaven. Therefore, we acknowledge and accept our Christian brothers and sisters throughout the world in other church families who love and also strive to fulfill Christ's command.
